Delhi is spread over an area of 1,483 square kilometres and its population is 1,27,82,976. The language of Delhi is Hindi, this means most of the people living in Delhi speaks Hindi. Delhi has a climate of continental nature means the Summers in Delhi are very hot and the Winters are very cold. This is because of the distance from the sea. The temperature varies from 45 degrees to 4 degrees in Summers and Winters respectively.
As Delhi is the capital of India it celebrates all kinds of festivals (all major festivals) of India. Some other famous festivals that are organised and celebrated in Delhi are The International Kite flying festival, Mango festival and Garden Tourism festival.
